Fountain Primary Mathematics Learner’s Book 6 is based on Set One Curriculum for Primary 6 developed by the National Curriculum Development Centre (NCDC) in 2010. It is intended to be used alongside Fountain Primary Mathematics Teacher’s Guide Book 6.
At this level, the focus is on consolidating the content and language competencies acquired in the lower classes. Also, emphasis is put on imparting to the learners basic mathematical knowledge as well as preparing them for secondary education, the world of work, scientific and technical application of knowledge and life skills.
It is hoped that this book will make learning mathematics more meaningful and interesting, and that it will instil in the learners a positive attitude towards mathematics as a useful tool in their day-to-day life.
